Monkey Mia Dolphin Experience

You don’t have to stay in Monkey Mia to enjoy this experience. Situated just a short 20-minute drive away, Monkey Mia dolphins are eager to say hello. The Dolphins at Monkey Mia visit the beach between 7.45 am and 12 pm. It is best to arrive earlier as dolphin experiences may finish before noon.

Francois Peron National Park

Just 4km from Denham is the amazing Francois Peron National Park. Available by 2WD and a further tour for 4WD, this spectacular area of acacia-cloaked red dunes and arid shrublands surrounded by turquoise water will definitely not disappoint. You can also take a self-guided tour around the Peron Homestead which provides an insight into how park life was when it was a working sheep station.

Shell Beach

Take a walk along Shell Beach. One of the only beaches in the world made out of only tiny little shells. The combination of high evaporation and the Faure Sill limiting water flow causes the water here to be twice as salty as the sea, meaning you will float well if you go for a swim here.
