In-park activities, holiday hot spots, and a few surprises worth planning for.

School holidays have a funny way of sneaking up. One minute you’re counting down to freedom, the next you’re googling “things to do with kids near me” at 7am.

At Tasman Holiday Parks, we’ve learnt that the best school holiday memories don’t come from over-planning - they come from simple moments, a bit of surprise, and space for kids to just be kids.

That’s where our Surprise & Delight moments come in.

Painted faces, pedal kart races, and a whole park buzzing.

Looking for something extra these school holidays?

If you like to plan ahead (or simply want to know what’s happening while you’re there), the easiest way to stay in the loop is by visiting your individual park’s “What’s On” section on our website.

Each park updates their activities every month, giving you the best possible opportunity to plan ahead - while still leaving plenty of room for spontaneity. From family-friendly favourites to one-off holiday surprises, it’s all there when you need it.

Because school holidays should feel easy - with just enough magic sprinkled in.

Hot spots: Summer school holiday fun

This summer, a few of our parks are turning things up with in-park experiences designed especially for school holidays.

Tasman Holiday Parks - Racecourse Beach

📅 24 January 2026 | ⏰ 2pm–6pm

An afternoon made for letting loose and leaning into holiday mode. It all kicks off at 2pm with Magical Dan, bringing big tricks, big laughs and a magic show that’ll have the kids glued (and the adults quietly impressed).

Once the magic wraps up, it’s time to turn up the music and hit the dance floor - show us your best moves, spin until you’re dizzy, and dance like it’s the last night of holidays. Somewhere in between, get wild with face painting, add a bit of sparkle, and fully commit to the look.

Magic, music, and memories - the kind that only happen on holiday ✨

Bubble machines on. Pool toys out. Shoes… absolutely optional at Racecourse Beach, NSW.

Tasman Holiday Parks - Moama on the Murray

📅 6 January 2026 | ⏰ 1pm–4pm

This one’s all about big energy and even bigger laughs. From the moment it kicks off, kids can jump straight into the action with inflatable fun that’s made for bouncing, racing, and burning off every last bit of school holiday excitement.

Take on the Big Baller challenge, dive into a Jurassic Adventure, and expect a whole lot of friendly competition, squeals of laughter, and kids who sleep very well that night. Easy afternoons, happy chaos, and holiday fun done right.

From pump tracks to splash pools, Moama has it all.

Tasman Holiday Parks - Papamoa Beach

📅 15 January 2026 | ⏰ 10am–1pm

Step right up - the circus is coming to town. Spend the morning learning a few new tricks with a mini circus activity show, where kids can jump in, have a go, and try their hand at some circus skills alongside the performers.

Between face painting, balloon twisting, and the smell of fresh popcorn popping away, the whole park turns into a colourful, high-energy playground. It’s playful, a little bit magical, and exactly the kind of school holiday morning that turns into a core memory.

Papamoa Beach brings the wild and wonderful.

School holidays don’t need to be packed to be memorable. Sometimes all it takes is the right place, a little room to roam, and a few moments of unexpected fun along the way.

Wherever you’re staying, don’t forget to check your park’s What’s On for the latest activities - and keep an eye out for those extra surprises we love to roll out during the holidays.
